Project Description
I was part of the visual production in Mira festival 2014 with the media artist Xarlene and Mediaflow software.
During some weeks we plan the visual stage of the festival with Ferran Artigues, have contact with visual artists with the visual booker Marc Gomariz and decide the projectors and lenses with Daniel Collado of Epson Spain.
This year edition we build a 15 meters long screen and we used 3 projectors for the audiovisual shows at the venue Fabra i Coats. A big screen for some of the best visual artists in the world like Max Cooper, Oliver Jennings, FAX, Lucas Gutierrez and many more.
MIRA 2014 and Movistar presented Omnis; an interactive audiovisual show by the Quebec artist Maotik. Omnis. which premieres for the first time in Europe, was an immersive installation where the viewer is in the middle of 25 meter circular screen and lived a sensory experience of sound and optical illusions that change the perception of time and space .
I was so glad to be part of the festival with all staff and so happy for tickets sold out. More than 4000 people around the world went to this year edition of Mira festival.
