Project Description
I came back to Japan in 2015 and collaborated with some Digital Hollywood University students and the company Visionica from Tokyo. I stayed in Tokyo during 3 months collaborating with them to prepare a projection mapping project for the first edition of the festival Tokyo Projection Mapping Award that was on the 26th of March in 2016 at Tokyo Big Sight.
The project called Cyber-trip got and award in the festival and was seen on TV. I was so glad to collaborate with the students, specially with my friend VJ Luci.
During this time I did also more activities in Tokyo related with new media arts and music. I did a presentation at Mapping Salon #03 organized by Projection Mapping Association of Japan, I played visuals as a VJ for a NYE party at the Icon club and I mixed music as a DJ at the club Circus Tokyo.
Apart from that, I prepared a Dome Content Workshop at Digital Hollywood University with the collaboration of Projection Mapping Association of Japan and the software Blendy Dome VJ. The workshop consisted in how can be created digital content for Domes and also explained the compatibility with virtual reality.
